We build fire extinguisher inspection software for owner-run fire-protection companies, and we start with one trade so we can do it properly.

Why extinguishers only

Small extinguisher companies service thousands of units with paper tags and spreadsheets, while most software is built for large multi-trade contractors. We'd rather be the best tool for that one job than an average tool for every trade.

How we write our guides

Our free guides summarize NFPA 10, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers (2022 edition) and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 in plain language. Each page lists the date it was last checked. Cost figures cite their sources. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it.

These guides are not legal advice. Your local fire marshal and the code edition it has adopted have the final say.
